What it is
A step-by-step guide to getting started in magic as a career — specifically, as a performer who gets paid.
The premise is that people picture one route: stand on a stage, do a show, collect a cheque. That is one of them. The course covers the rest, drawn from twenty years of doing them — creating magic that other magicians buy and perform, corporate keynotes on what magicians know that a business audience can use, writing books, teaching one-to-one and in groups, and virtual shows.
A large part of it is unglamorous and specific: how to build a website that differentiates you from the performer down the road, what language to put on it, which platform to build it on, and which images and video to use in what order. It also includes Adam’s entire virtual show, start to finish — the same one he was performing for corporate audiences at the time.
The rest covers creativity and how to invent material other magicians will buy, and then what to actually do with an idea: where to take it, and whether to self-publish or go to a company.
