Everything Vulpine made

Twelve effects over five years, plus the courses that went with them — built by two people. Tens of thousands of units across five continents, more than a hundred and twenty hours of instruction, a 4.9-star average on every platform, and not a single return.

The standard

Every release had to survive six months of testing before it shipped. The instruction was treated as part of the product rather than paperwork attached to it — eight hours for the first release, roughly twelve for the cups, more than a hundred and twenty hours across the catalogue. Reviewers noticed: across every product, the teaching is the thing they single out most often.

The ones that never shipped

For every product released, five to twenty ideas were discarded. Each had already consumed weeks or months of work before the six-month testing rule delivered its verdict.

The coin bend was one of them. A spectator’s own coin, bending visibly in front of their eyes, and the reactions were extraordinary. It was difficult to manufacture consistently and the durability did not meet the standard, so it never went out.
