What it is

Four cards are shown and the spectator picks one. Only one is correct, so you are betting on their decision. Their card goes face down on the table — and the other three change into cards with words on them. When they turn theirs over, it has vanished too.

Then attention comes back to the wallet, and to the black envelope that has been sitting there the whole time. It holds one card and one card only: the one they freely chose.

Adam’s summary of it was blunt: “While it may be hard to say, it’s super easy to perform.” The routine is layered, with several climaxes that arrive from nowhere.

The bonus routine

A second full routine ships with it, called Mind Painters. The spectator picks a card and uses it as a canvas — then paints it, with their mind, onto a blank sheet of paper from the wallet that they have signed themselves. When the signed sheet is turned over, the card they chose is on it.

It fits the same register as the main routine: light, playful, and still fooling.

The wallet

The wallet supplied with the project is built to last — stitched properly, and easy to handle in performance. The whole thing takes almost no pocket space and gives you two complete routines.
